The Assembly is cooking again this weekend and so are the posters. The consistency from Andrew Ringrose is staggering and Graham Kennedy has blown us away the last few weeks.
Keep up the good work.
Ram Jam is back and again Rouleaux rips the Rock ‘n Roll out for the poster. The previous nights was sweaty and fun so be sure to make it this Friday.
When this exhibition was launched in Joburg and Durban without a Cape Town event yet, I was gutted. Luckily the guys from WorkingClass got the finer details sorted and tomorrow night is the big night.
The Date has changed due to possible weather conditions, so make a note of it happening Wednesday 28 March at aStore in Kloof Street. Check the event by clicking the poster.
Bruno Morphet made this beautiful series of posters for ToyToy and We Are The Noise, the latest of these is for Alex Smoke playing Friday night. Be there.
I get very excited when two great forces meet and here we have it, Simon Berndt and The Great Apes. The Apes has been a threatening force in Cape Town for a while now and the countrywide tour starts soon, but (C)Ape Town will be assaulted first.
I think Cape Town has been waiting for this for a while and finally Fiction is ready. Andrew Ringrose pulls the coffin from the grave and introduces the first night of mayhem with.

Tim Lester made this for Bicycle Thief. It’s their album launch, and the line-up looks great.
Simon Berndt (One Horse Town) made this poster for the Scrapyard party happening at The Assembly tonight (Tuesday). As is the case with most awesome gig posters, choosing which is better (the line up or poster) is insanely difficult.
Another great poster by TwoShoes design for The Flamjangled Tea Party, and that lineup looks fantastic!
Ogilvy approached Says Who to work on gig posters for Dukes Burgers Rock Menu. The end product is amazing, now if only Dukes would come to Cape Town we could see it in person.

I love what the guys from WorkingClass has done here. Be sure to support this great exhibition starting in Durban and then off to Joburg, with talks in progress for Cape Town.

Although not South African, we love DKNG Studios process videos so much we just had to share this with you, remember the Explosions In The Sky poster Process video? Yes, those guys.
This time they create a font for The Poster Show. Enjoy.
